Sarah & Stephen said their vows and celebrated with great joy at Camp Lucy’s gorgeous new venue, Sacred Oaks, on Sunday. We managed to avoid the rain and enjoy the stunning hill country setting with wildflowers, butterflies, and some of Texas’ giant oak trees. Being that Sarah and I both grew up in the hill country, it was perfect! In fact, we both grew up in the same circle of friends who frequently gathered for potluck parties with music that lasted long into the night. But I have to say, shooting a wedding where you grew up with half of the guests makes it hard not to just talk to everyone, especially for a people person like me! I hadn’t met Stephen before the wedding, but seeing him and Sarah together makes perfect sense. I know that they will have great adventures together, since they met in Japan and will be heading to the Netherlands shortly, where Steve serves in the Air Force. Not to mention the fact that two people with such a fun outlook on life and sense of humor will certainly face life successfully together. Enjoy photos from their beautiful day!
That talented, handsome man playing the fiddle is my daddy! I have to brag on him every change I get 🙂
