Planning a wedding can sometimes get so overwhelming that you lose sight of the point of the wedding in the first place- you’re marrying the love of your life! After trying to plan a Texas wedding from New York, Valerie & Carl got fed up with it and went ahead and got married a few months before the day they had planned. I love that about these two-even thought we didn’t get to spend a whole lot of time together, I could tell that they are the kind of people who don’t let anything get in the way of their relationship. As a result, they were able to enjoy a beautiful, relaxing celebration of their love at the stunning Le San Michele in Buda.
With gold, teal, and bright pink handmade details abounding, I was a happy photographer. Believe it or not, Valerie’s mom made her gorgeous wedding dress, the vases for the flowers, and the dessert plates! They even made the flower arrangements! After enjoying the beautiful evening, I would totally recommend that people consider having a reception to celebrate their marriage, and let the ceremony be a small, intimate affair. Then you can also set aside plenty of time for portraits 🙂 I loved Carl & Valerie’s sense of humor, and seeing how much fun they have together! Enjoy the photos!
