From the first moment that I met Mandi, I knew she was a kind, gracious person. Add in the fact that she told me that her wedding was inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night, and I was hooked. Matt and Mandi didn’t want a long engagement, because they knew they wanted to be together, and waiting just wasn’t worth it! Plus, they moved across the country to California right after their honeymoon where Matt got a job as a worship leader! I love that their wedding was totally focused on the most important things to them- their love for God and love for each other. They pledged their love to each other in the lovely First Baptist Church of Taylor, with Matt’s dad officiating the wedding.
I saw this light, and then I died of happiness, Also I may have taken WAY too many ring shots.
Being that Matt is a worship leader, he sang a beautiful song to Mandi, expressing his love in his own perfectly unique way.
Such tangible joy!
The sunshine-y day perfectly reflected Mandi’s unquenchable radiance.
After the ceremony, we made our way over to the Chateau on the Creek where we spent a few more minutes letting the new husband and wife soak in the joy of the day and their joy in each other.
