I have had the most difficult time writing about this wedding! How do you describe the wedding a friend with whom you’ve grown tremendously, laughed with, cried with, debated with, and confided in? Now imagine that, times two, and then those two people are marrying each other!!! I’ve know both Trey and Bethany for more than four years and we have been through thick and thin, believe me. They have proved their faithfulness as friends over and over again, and I’m overwhelmed at God’s own faithfulness to them, from the beauty of their relationship, to the little details of the wedding (hello, Disney-worthy cape of Bethany’s dreams). Bethany radiates joy and really is a princess, so to see her glowing on her fairy tale wedding day to a man who adores her and will love her steadfastly for the rest of their lives made my heart incredibly happy.
If you haven’t picked up on it just from these first photos, Bethany LOVES purple, and how convenient that her house had a purple wall!
A house full of artistic, whimsical girls makes for pretty fantastic detail shots.
Riverbend Church’s Smith Family Chapel made a gorgeous castle-like backdrop for Bethany’s beauty.
The adorable little boy Bethany nannies relented and let Trey have Bethany for the day 🙂
Oh hey, who’s that handsome best man giving a speech?! That’s right, my husband served as the best man! I’m so thankful for the friendship that he and Trey have. And for those awesome dancing skills Brad showed off 🙂
Tip to brides or anyone planning a party: hire Bananarchy for your catering!!! Frozen bananas covered in chocolate, oreos, and peanut butter?! You really can’t beat that.
